Hi, we're Reed and Jessica.
We are husband and wife, best friends, co-workers,
and travel companions. 

We got married in September of 2012, and after finishing graduate school in 2013, we accepted a job working with a non-profit in the Horn of Africa. 

Jessica graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in business journalism. She received her Master's from Dallas Theological Seminary in Media & Communication. She has spent the past 10 years working with non-profits to develop marketing materials that better tell the stories of those affected by loss, crisis, and heartache. Her passion to see stories told with dignity has taken her to over 27 countries from the U.S. to Africa and everywhere in between. When in the U.S. she also does lifestyle and wedding photography.

Reed graduated from Texas A&M with a BBA in Finance. He received a Master's Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in Cross-Cultural Communication. He has worked in logistics and shipping for humanitarian organizations for the past 9 years. He also spent several weeks in Haiti after the earthquake helping asses the damage and working with local leaders to help feed, clothe, and shelter victims. 

In 2016 we welcomed our first child into the world, Ezra James Gardner. He was born a whopping 10 pounds 13 ounces and has been a stud ever since. We are now expecting our second baby girl at the end of December 2018. We now live in the Horn of Africa doing life and learning to love others. We don't know what's next for us, but whatever it may be we're in it together.
